Mobility & Tech area

The ambition is triple zero: zero emissions, zero traffic jams and zero traffic fatalities. This requires not only smart technological solutions, but a transition of an entire infrastructure and industry. It is these collaborations within an innovative ecosystem that will further strengthen Brainport Eindhoven’s strong global position as a cradle of smart and sustainable mobility. The need for sustainable, emission-free, smart and safe technological mobility solutions is great: electrically powered vehicle, boat and aircraft, the associated infrastructure, hydrogen as an energy carrier and smart, autonomous and connected vehicles and digital networks and systems.

These are the participating innovators in the Mobility & Tech area of Dutch Technology Festival 2023:

How does a bus drive as many miles as possible on one battery?

How do we ensure that we can charge E-trucks more and more easily? How do we ensure that we transport more with E-trucks? And not have to pay more per delivered package?

– Racesimulator
How do you ensure that cars drive as fast as possible, for example during a Formula 1 race?

– Team PI (bouwen van robots)
How do you build a robot that can propel itself and perform tasks independently?

How can we build buses as light as possible to drive clean and safe kilometers?

ASML EUV Machine: what makes it difficult to make the smallest and fastest chips in the world?

How can you race without emissions?
Cost, material, quality and technical complexity: the production process is often under pressure. What is the next step to predict material defects before production starts?
  • NXP – innovatie + escaperoom
